Requirements for Kenya NPSC Recruitment 2025
- Age: Applicants of Kenya Police Service recruitment must be between the ages of 18 to 25 years.
- Education: Applicant must have at least a D+ mean grade in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) including English and Kiswahili languages.
- Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of Kenya with a valid government issued National Identity Card or Passport. Expired identification documents will not be recognized.
- Fitness: Both male and female applicants of NPSC recruitment must be medically and physically fit. Pregnant women or male with medical condition are not permitted to apply.
Lastly, applicants must adhere to the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Kenya constitution by possessing relevant clearance certificates from bodies such as; Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), HELB, DCI etc. These clearance certificates shall be required during screening.

Kenya NPSC Recruitment Process for 2025 Intake
Just like previous years, the National Police Service Commission do follow laid out procedures to screen and employ the best candidates into NPSC.
This process starts with announcement of new vacancies either for cadet offices, regular police, inspectors or higher ranking positions at the commission website ww.npsc.go.ke. Next stage is submission of applications by individual interested and willing to join the Kenya police force.
The application is done within a specified period which usually takes up to two (2) weeks, after which the Police Service Commission will review submitted applications and then shortlist names of candidates who meet requirements for screening.
