The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) is a parastatal (Government Owned and Autonomous) established on 26th April 2019 through a Gazette Notice No. 59 and under the Water Act, 2016.
The parastatal covers a wide range of areas in Kenya, and its operational areas includes Tana River, Mombasa, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Lamu, and Kilifi. The Board was established to ensure the provision of water and sewerage services in the above detailed areas in Kenya economically.

Requirements for CWWDA Recruitment 2025/2026
- Applicant must possess a valid National Identity Card or Passport to proof Kenyan citizenship.
- Possessing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited higher institution is mandatory.
- Those with master’s degree have an added advantage.
- Working experience of at least five (5) years would also be an added advantage.
